Here is another super easy fast lunch-
2- low fat string cheese sticks
2- slices of low sodium turkey breast
Hand full of cherry/grape tomatoes
A few sticks of celery
I can eat cherry/grape tomatoes like candy- I love them!
These posts are really about what I eat on a regular basis.
Fruit and dairy are not "showgirl" approved diet items.
I tend to eat my fruit early in the day and then I switch to veggies in the afternoon and evening.
I take in about 75-100oz of water a day- On the days I don't get enough water I can totally feel it.

Berry Protein Shake
Yum Yum Yum-
Here is a mid morning or early afternoon protein packed delicious shake-
8oz low fat (1%) or skim milk
1 scoop of vanilla whey protein powder
1/2 cup of frozen berries (Costco has a great bag of frozen berries 0 sugar added)
Blend up and drink-
I use my Magic Bullet blender. Small and easy to clean - Also travels well!
-Eating well doesn't have to be hard or super time consuming. It really just takes a little planning ahead. Honestly, once eating every 2-3 hours becomes a habit - well, it's no big deal-
I will be traveling for speaking engagements over the next week and a half. I will post how I pack food/snacks for travel.
I don't really want to leave my meals to chance - so, I plan ahead.
Power Oatmeal
Oatmeal is probably my all time favorite breakfast. This is the way to kick off an amazing healthy day-
On the stove top-
1 cup of water
1/3 cup of whole grain oatmeal
2 tbsp of ground flaxseed
1 tbsp of Agave nectar
1 tbsp of chopped almonds (can use walnuts instead)
Bring water to boil, add oatmeal, flax and agave-
Simmer on low for 5 minutes.
Sprinkle with almonds
Add a slash of low fat milk (optional)
Strawberries, blueberries and raspberries.....
Love, love, love this breakfast....
